camping fieldTouring Pitches

St Mabyn is perfect for special occasions such as Valentines Day, Mothers Day, Fathers Day etc and of course Bank Holidays.

We offer a total of 120 pitches (grass and hard standing), that are spacious and well maintained. Many have electric hook-up facilities. The supply is 240 volt via a standard EEC 16 amp socket.

Our grass pitches (with or without electricity) are ideal for tents and trailer tents.

Drinking water and waste points are situated conveniently around the park. We set ourselves very high standards that are reflected in the cleanliness of our facilities. These include a hotel standard shower rooms with disabled wet room, family rooms, launderette and also indoor area with fridge and freezer for campers.

Hard standing/ Serviced pitches/ Extra large pitches/ All weather electric pitchall weather pitches

We have many hard standing pitches some of which are serviced. In addition, several of our pitches are long enough to accommodate the largest of motorhomes such as Hymer B class, Autotrail Cheyenne and Scout, Rapido, Pilote and Dethleffs as well as some US RV’s and 5th wheelers.

Our new All Weather Electric Pitches are suitable for motorhomes, touring vans and tents. After researching the best surface for our all weather pitches, we settled on Terram. This was put down after levelling the ground to stop any weeds from coming through. It also gives excellent drainage. On top of that we placed small gauge decorative gravel, which is more comfortable under foot. Each landscaped pitch will mature into well-maintained small hedges that will give each camper their own mudfree private holiday area.
Please note – We advise using a thicker ground sheet and rock pegs to ensure a comfortable stay.

touring_rotel_coachRotel Tour bus comes to St Mabyn

The Rotel Tour Bus (rolling hotel) rolls a coach and hotel into one unit. By day passengers sit in the front of the coach and by night they adjourn to the rear of the vehicle to enjoy their semi-private sleeping quarters. The 50-year-old German company Rotel Tours operates these coaches in many countries around the world and appeal to budget-conscious travellers who want to see the sights but don’t like ‘roughing it’ too much.
